Disclaimer:
This is an attempt at a representation of the Rutherford-Bohr atomic model.
This is not what atoms look like at all.
Electrons are not orbiting the nucleus.
Nucleons are not aggregated like this in the nucleus.
Nothing is to scale.
Electrons are colored green, protons are red and neutrons are blue.
I have tried to follow conventional representation (if any).
Database:
The database for the properties were taken from
here that itself references
NIH PubChem.
The definition and units of the properties are:
- Atomic mass: Atomic Weight of an element in atomic mass units (amu)
- Atomic Radius: the van der Waals atomic radius in picometers (pm)
- Electronegativity: Electronegativity in Pauling units
- IonizationEnergy: the ionization energy of an element in electron-volts (eV)
- Density: density of an element in g/cm^3
- Melting Point: the melting point of an element in degrees Kelvin
- Boiling Point: the boiling point of an element in degrees Kelvin
- Specific Heat: the specific heat of an element in Joules per gram Kelvin J/(g•K)
