Misc : Supermag Sets

After browsing through many websites in search of interesting Supermag sets, I have decided to compile in a common place all the different lines and sets I could find. Most of the images were collected from various places and are not mine, sorry for that.

If you happen to have more details about the lines and sets such as the price, the date when they were commercialized or anything really, please let me know.

SMG Toy

This is the original line that contains four different sets with 24, 50, 102 and 244 pieces. The boxes came with two different graphics, the older version is more dark, the newer is bluer and has "Toy" written on it. In each box, the rods are the same color. Possible colors are red, blue, green, yellow and white. There is only 3 types of pieces : B257, B144 and S127.

SMG Glow

For some marketing reason I guess, Plastwood has introduced phosphorescent rods in its proper line which also came in an older and newer designs. The number of pieces per set and type of pieces is the same as for the SMG Toy line.

SMG Deluxe

The Deluxe line has only two sets with lots of pieces: 809 and 1666 that are stored in high quality hand-made wooden boxes. It is also the introduction of the black color for rods (not a 100% sure about that though).

SMG Discovery Multicolour

At this point, Plastwood introduces new pieces with various sizes for the rods and spheres. There is now : B416, B381, B257, B205, B253, B144, B126, S150, S127, S100.

SMG Unibar

As the name suggest, the Unibar line only uses a rod of a single length in each set.

SMG Classic

With this line, Plastwood introduces rods and balls with screws which is a way to increase the robustness of structures.

SMG Style

This line takes the 24 and 50 pieces sets from the Toy line and put them into new box designs. It also comes with a new and old version. I think the newest version come in only white color.
